Excursions

We offer diving for everyone, from beginners to extreme tech-divers.

Åland is a unique island landscape with about 6.500 islands. Together they become one of the world’s most difficult waters to navigate in.

The archipelago is the natural commercial route between Sweden and Finland, used since ancient times. With all its skerries and islands the archipelago has always posed a real threat to the sea farers and many ships have ended their last journeys on the sea floor. The Åland archipelago in the Baltic is one of the areas in the world with the highest density of ship-wrecks, with more than 500 known wrecks.

Thanks to the unique circumstances in the Baltic, with low salinity, old wrecks are conserved and steel ships are slowly broken down. This in combination with unique legislation has preserved many of the wrecks in Åland waters. With us you have the possibility to visit some of the unique wrecks.

More information on the diving spots can be found in the Wreck Guide.

During your stay we offer many different events; diving combined with wonderful nature and visits to world-class maritime museums.

The Åland Maritime museum and the museum ship Pommern are well worth a visit.

The day trips are planned according to your wishes and considering the weather conditions. If the weather is co-operative it is possible to do an all day-excursion including two dives. Between dives it is possible to visit one of the many natural harbours in the area.

On the much appreciated islands Rödhamn, Kobba klintar and Signilskär there is a possibility to have a barbecue, sunbathe or just enjoy the Åland archipelago.
